I know that writing a blog won't stop terrorism in India. But I would surely want to write my point of view or some approach that can help dealing with terrorism.
As more & more terrorist attacks happening in our country, I hear more people spreading bad words about Muslims or Islam. Many times during discussions at office or with friends I hear many guys share bad words about Muslims.
My personal opinion is that 'these terrorists happen to be Muslim but that doesn't mean that we can say badly about all Muslims'.
If that is the case then after Gujarat riots, can we call all Gujarati's (or Hindus) as 'mass murderer’? We don't. Then we don't have any rights to say bad about all Muslims of India.
I personally believe that vast majority of Indian Muslims are as patriotic as any Hindu would be.
My best friend is also a Muslim. I know that how tough it is these days for a Muslim that he/she has to prove to others that he/she is as patriotic like others.
There are only few Muslims in India who are spreading anti-India venoms in other Muslim's mindset. Surprisingly they are succeeding in doing that.
So is that victory for those terrorist? No...instead I would say that it is our defeat. Because even after so many years post Independence...we are still not able to spread the message of love & brotherhood between all religions. But these terrorists are able to spread the message of violence in few years.
So it is defeat of millions of Indians rather than victory of few terrorists.
We all agree that without support of local people, these Pakistani terrorists can’t succeed. So the best way to stop these terrorist acts is by spreading message of brother hood amongst Indian Muslims. We need to tell all Muslim brothers that this is their own country. And you have all the rights like any other non-Muslim citizen. (In fact more rights because of reservation policies)
It was only few years back that the president of this country was a Muslim.
The most successful music composer we have is a Muslim
The most successful female tennis player we have is a Muslim.
After Ganguly the most successful cricket captain we had was a Muslim
Most of the leading film stars we are crazy about are Muslims
Top most choreographers in our film industry are Muslims
I am thinking that all the leading TV channels should run a campaign against terrorisms. They should run an ad with ‘national anthem’ that shows only Muslims…& it should include Muslims from various sectors (sports, movies, TV, politics etc.)
We should show people like AR Rahman, Abdul Kalam, Mohd Azharuddin, Sania Mirza, Javed Akhtar, all leading Khans of film industry, Farah Khan, Zakir Hussain, Amjad Ali Khan & many more…..
Such campaign will do multiple effects like
- For all Hindus that doesn’t have good feeling for Muslims…they will realize that all these people in the campaign who are doing proud for India…they all are Muslims only...
- For all Muslims who feel that India is not their country….they will realize that if all these Muslims people of the campaign can become successful & live happy life in India….they even I can…
- For all those terrorist…..they will get the message that Muslims in India are united, they all are proudly Indian, they all are proudly Islamic….& they don’t need people from neighboring countries to teach them what is Islam
I don’t have money or contacts to run such campaign but I am hopeful that people reading this blog will spread my message I wish that the real solution to such madness can be found.
