Debojit Dutta & Indian Idol

Everyone is praising Debojit Dutta's singing in SaReGaMaPa 2009 show.....but does anyone remember that 'Debojit Dutta' was also in 'Indian Idol -1' also ?...

at that time also he didn't look a 'street-smart' guy but he was a great singer that time also...I remember how Sonu Nigam praised him multiple times...
as per my memory....he was there in top 30 & was there in competition till it was judges voting...
but lost out once public voting started....

I also remember one episode....where Mini Mathur asked all top 30 contestant...what they feel when Judges use harsh words against them.....for which Debojit had replied that 'he don't care what Anu Malik sir say...coz now they can't vote me out...& only junta will decide now...'

It looks like he will win SaReGaMaPa 2009.....because not only he is great singer but past records of Bengali winners on Zee TV....also indicate the same...
